5 DAYS KENYA SAROVA EXPERIENCE SAFARI & COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT

On arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be transferred to our hotel for the night, the lovely Sarova Stanley.

The afternoon is at your own leisure, relax in the hotel or explore Nairobi's attractions including; Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Centre, Kitengela Hot Glass Excursion, or a Nairobi Shopping Spree.

Dinner tonight is for our own expense with numerous dining options close to the hotel.

After breakfast, we depart Nairobi for the world famous Maasai Mara.

We drive through fertile highlands before heading down into the Great Rift Valley on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.

We arrive at Sarova Mara Camp in time for lunch.

A short afternoon siesta is followed by our first game drive in the Masai Mara.

Return to the Camp as the sun sets for dinner.

A very early wake up for breakfast and our morning game.

Wake up to cup of tea or coffee followed by an early morning pre- breakfast game drive.

Return to the Camp for breakfast, followed by a further game drive. All the big five may be seen namely elephant, buffalo and lion; the sighting of rhino and leopard which make the total five cannot be guaranteed as they are few in number, very shy and elusive.

Lunch at the Camp then depart for an afternoon visit to a Maasai village and a Local School.

For this tour, We desire to make a difference in local communities, and this enables us to leave a heart-print in the people’s cultures that we interact with. The time spent with the locals becomes exciting and fulfilling because you get to immerse yourself in another world while helping out those in need.

In partnership with you, we will go to a local school and donate items like books, underwear, and usable or reusable sanitary towels to allow the girls to remain in school. Wind up the day with a late afternoon / early evening game drive, returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we depart the Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru, our destinations for the night.

We travel through what is regarded as Kenya's bread-basket where wheat and barley fields spread out as far as the eye can see.

We arrive at Lion Hill Lodge for check in.

After Lunch and a short siesta we shall head out on an afternoon game drive. Proceed on a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park which has a fantastic array of bird-life including Flamingos, White Pelicans and Marabou Stork, all water birds that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters. You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s Giraffe that has five horns instead of the usual three, and clear instead of spotted shanks.

A visit to the baboon cliff offers a scenic panorama of the lake below, surrounded by a vast tract of euphorbia and acacia forest. Makalia falls within the park are an additional attraction.

We depart Lake Nakuru and head back to Nairobi for drop off, or straight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your late afternoon flight to Mombasa.
