DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM – RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Fly from Dar Es Salaam to Ruaha National Park. Auric Air: 07:00 / 09:30. Meet and greet at Msembe airstrip by vehicle from Tandala Tented Camp. Enjoy shared game drive in Ruaha National Park. Meals and overnight at Tandala Tented Camp (outside the park)
DAY 2: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy shared game drives in Ruaha National Park. One of the country's most outstanding wilderness area.
It is the second largest National Park, covering an area of 20,226 sq.km located in south-central Tanzania. During the dry season, when game viewing is at its best, animals are drawn to the Great Ruaha River and other water sources. DAY 3: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy shared game drives in Ruaha National Park. Not only does Ruaha enjoy abundant wildlife, but the magnificent and constantly changing landscapes add a magical touch to the whole experience. Baobabs dot the rocky hillsides, the cool green shade along the River, the open grassy plains, all make a wonderful and exciting trip.

DAY 4: RUAHA NATIONAL PARK – DAR ES SALAAM
Shared transfer to Msembe airstrip for your scheduled flight back to Dar Es Salaam. Auric Air: 09:45 / 12:00. Own arrangements in Dar Es Salaam

Flight fare Note:

- Flights in the Southern Parks are suspended during the long rains from Mid-March to End May
- Park entry permits are valid for 24-hour period from time of arrival to the park. If departure time exceeds the 24 hours permit an additional day’s permit will be charged by TANAPA, this will be invoiced at time of booking
Tandala Tented Camp
- Park entrance fees included in Game package are per day single entry. (Not required for full board only, bird viewing or cultural tour).
- All packages are exclusive of drinks, gratuities and items of a personal nature.
* Includes accommodation, laundry, meals, airstrip transfers, game drives, cultural tours, walks, and park fees per day single entry.
- Community Tourism is a growing sector of Tourism in Tanzania.
- The community tourist development gives the local people the right to benefit from the income generated from tourism. Whether it is visiting and talking to the local people, attending cultural performances, purchasing local handicrafts or discovering the wilderness and wildlife on foot.
- WiFi is available now at Tandala.
- Honeymooners, Birthdays/Special days are planned for individually at no extra cost.
- Cultural Tours (Also includes visiting the local village, market, primary school and dispensary. This is a cultural activity departing from Tandala at 7.30am after breakfast, and returning between 11.30am and 01 pm for lunch).
- Minimum 2 people per activity.
- Activities (where applicable) and Game Drives are undertaken in our 4x4 open-sided vehicles with a driver and English-speaking guide.
General Terms & Conditions:
- Government Taxes and Levies:
The rates above are inclusive of current levies & taxes as of today, however should there be any new statutory taxes introduced and/or increase of any current levies by Government/statutory bodies the same shall be passed on to you
- TANZANIA NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY (TANAPA):
The quoted Park Entry Fees are based on current tariff which is valid up to 30th June 2024.
Should TANAPA increase the entry fees from July 2023 the same will be passed on to you.
- Luggage space:
Soft-sided luggage or duffels are preferable to hard luggage for storage on safari vehicles within East Africa. Large suitcases of dimensions greater than 24"x 17"x 7" are impossible to store in vehicles and on aircraft and should not be used. (Baggage and personal effects are at owner's risk throughout the tour and baggage insurance for members is strongly advised).
- Re-routing of Itineraries due to limited space availability:
There may be some departures operated on a re-routed version depending on the status given, but reflecting same experience and number of game drives.
- Seasonal variations:
Some bookings might straddle between two seasons making the above seasonal quotations on accommodation NOT APPLICABLE. In such cases, please contact us for TAILOR-MADE QUOTATIONS cutting across seasons
