PRICING:
All prices are based on the services quoted. The prices will be guaranteed once payment for the
services is received by KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY. However, should there be eventualities
beyond KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY’S control, the prices quoted on itinerary are subject to
change.

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:
Once a booking has been confirmed, and the invoice has been raised, KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY
requires a deposit payment of 50% of the total invoice. The balance [payment must be paid 45 days
prior the tour commencement date. For any booking which is confirmed within 45 days to tour
commencement, the payment must be made in full. Should payment for confirmed booking not be
made as per the stipulated terms, KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY reserves the right to cancel the
tour.

ACCOMMODATION:
Hotel accommodation is based on the Hotels/Lodges/ Camps/Airbnb mentioned on the itineraries or
similar. if these are not available at the time of making a firm reservation, You shall be notified. The
accommodation is reserved in twin-bedded rooms with private baths throughout the tour. Single
rooms requested are not guaranteed and will be confirmed if there is availability.

MEALS:
Meals will be provided as indicated on the itinerary.

GROUND AND AIR TRANSPORTATION:
Ground transportation will be provided as per your request in either safari mini vans or in four-
wheel drive vehicles. KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY reserves the right to employ the services of
subcontractors. English language speaking driver-guides are provided. Other languages speaking
drivers will be provided on request, subject to availability.

KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY will make arrangements for all domestic air tickets where applicable.
Air arrangements are based on current Airfares which are subject to change without notice. Rates
may vary accordingly. Should you cancel or change your air reservation before or after you depart,
cancellation penalties may apply. Flights are occasionally subject to overbooking, delay or
cancellation. If this occurs KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY will do its best to assist clients in finding
alternative arrangements. KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY, however, is not responsible for any such
events and the costs associated therewith.

LUGGAGE:
Tour rates include the transport and handling of two pieces of luggage per person as per Airline
regulations. Guests are urged, however, to travel with only one medium-size suitcase, or a duffle
bag. On certain flights, strict luggage restrictions apply; details are provided in tour documentation.
Luggage and personal effects are the owner’s responsibility throughout the tour and KISIMA THE
SAFARI COMPANY will not be held liable for them.

TOUR RATES QUOTED INCLUDE:
Included in the cost given are all the costs for the vehicle and driver-guide, all park entrance fees,
game drives as indicated in the itinerary, Government taxes, hotel service charges – accommodation
in Nairobi on bed and breakfast basis, and full board on safari and half board at the coast and
National Parks.

RATES QUOTED DO NOT INCLUDE:
Cost of obtaining passports, visas, travel insurance, excess baggage charges, items of a personal
nature such as drinks, laundry, communication (calls, faxes, emails, etc.), deviations from the tour
itinerary, and gratuities to drivers and hotel staff. Travel Insurance, Health Insurance or any other
insurance which provides protection against illness, hospitalization, lost or damaged luggage.
Insurance is highly recommended. Check with your travel agent or your other insurance providers
for what is available.

CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation terms are as follows:
For any cancellation received by KISIMA THE SAFARI COMAPNY over 90 days prior to the safari date
the deposit payment will be refunded less a charge of USD 300 per person to cover the cost of any
reservations and arrangements which had been made.
Cancellations received 90-71 days prior to the safari commencement date there will be a charge of
15% of the total tour cost.
Cancellations received 70-51 days prior to the safari commencement date there will be a charge of
50% of the total tour cost
Cancellations received 50-0 days prior to the safari commencement date there will be a charge of
100% of the total tour cost
Full trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

INSURANCES:
KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY highly recommends that all clients get full comprehensive personal
insurance from your providers to cover any eventualities.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY may take photographs or film its trips and trip participants. While
using our services, Participants grant KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY express permission to do so, and
for KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY to use such for Promotional or Commercial use.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY LIMITED and it’s agents act only as agents in all matters relating to
lodging facilities, transportation companies, airlines, guides, entertainment places, food or drink
service providers, equipment suppliers including, without limitation, various entities which may
utilize the KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY name. As a result, KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY is not
responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any such person or entity. In addition,
KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY is not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of

any person or entity it does not own or control, nor for any act or inaction of any other third party
not under its control.
The company shall not be held liable, for any inconveniences, omission of service, injury, delay, loss
or damage from any case and in any manner howsoever, including weather, machinery breakdown,
labour disputes, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism and government orders. Similarly, KISIMA THE
SAFARI COMPANY is not responsible for any loss, injury, death or inconvenience due to delay or
changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodation, default of any third party, attacks by animals,
injury or death while on activities sponsored by lodging facilities or by other third parties, sickness,
evacuation , if necessary, weather, strikes, acts of God or government, force majeure, war,
quarantine, epidemics, or the threat thereof, criminal activity, or any other cause beyond the
company’s.
The right is reserved to alter or cancel the itinerary, at KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY’s sole
discretion, as it may deem necessary or advisable. KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY reserves the right
to decline to accept or retain any passenger on any of its tours. In the event any passenger is
removed from a trip, KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY’s only obligation is to refund to that person that
portion of the payment allocable to unused services.

Changes in the Terms and Conditions can only be made in writing and signed by an officer of  KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY.

ARBITRATION
Any and all disputes arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms and Conditions, to KISIMA
THE SAFARI COMPANY brochures or any other of its literature or sales presentations, to this website,
or any other information relating in any way to your trip with KISIMA THE SAFARI COMPANY, or to
the trip itself, shall be resolved solely and exclusively by binding arbitration according to the current
commercial laws of Kenya Laws. Any such arbitration will take place in NAIROBI, KENYA. In any such
arbitration, the substantive (but not procedural) law of KENYA will apply.
